PURPOSE:To easily execute updating in the specifications of a system and the improvement of functions, and even when a bug is detected in a program, to easily process the bug by permitting a central processing part to specify an address in the 2nd address space which is not superposed to the 1st address space. CONSTITUTION:In a computer system 1 constituted of the central processing part 2 and a read-only 1st memory 3 connected into the 1st address space specified at its address by the central processing part 2 and storing a mini program, the central processing part 2 is enabled to specify the 2nd address space which is not superposed to the 1st address space. An expanding 2nd memory connected to the 2nd address space stores a main program to be used in substitution for the main program in the 1st memory, and when specific data in a specific address of the 2nd memory 7 are read out, the main program in the 2nd memory 7 is executed.
