PURPOSE:To enhance sealing performance by boring a through hole in a gasket body, and projectedly providing a bead part so as to surround the through hole, and further providing a sealing member in the recessed part formed by the bead part. CONSTITUTION:A gasket body 1 is interposed between a cylinder head 2 and a cylinder block 3. A through hole 5 is bored in the body 1 so as to be nearly coincident with the inside diameter of a cylinder bore 4, and further a bead part 6 is projectedly provided so as to surround it. Furthermore, a sealing member 8 is housed in the recessed part 7 formed by the bead part 6. Thus, by a high surface pressure at the top of the bead part and a sealing member on the reverse side of the top of the bead part, a good sealing performance can be obtained on both surfaces of the body.
