PURPOSE:To simplify the construction of device and make it in a small size in a sheet handling mechanism, which takes out sheets of photo sensitive material etc. from accommodation vessel, by performing attraction of sheets with pressure change in an air chamber caused by expansion/contraction of bellows and operation of an exhaust valve. CONSTITUTION:A rotary arm 17 is rotated, and a suction device 2 is approached to sheets stacked in a magazine. Then a suction cup 5 contacts the sheets to make close contact, and the rotary arm 17 turns further, and the suction device 2 operates so that bellows 3 contract against the resilient force of a spring 16. Accordingly the pressure in air chamber 4 rises, and an exhaust valve 10 opens automatically, and the air in the air chamber 4 is exhausted from an exhaust hole 6 to the outside. When the pressure in the air chamber 4 sinks to a certain value, the exhaust valve 10 shuts by the action of a spring 12. If the rotating direction of the arm 17 is inverted in the condition the bellows 3 are contracted, the bellows 3 are elongated through the resilient force of the spring 15 to put inside the air chamber 14 in neg. pressure, and now the sheets are attracted by said suction cup 5.
