PURPOSE:To ensure stable steerability regardless of reduced unit weight and cost by applying a two-channel control system comprising the first and second fluid pressure control valves. CONSTITUTION:A control unit 31 makes judgement as to which side of a road surface has a lower coefficient of friction, from the result of evaluating the skid condition of both rear wheels 11a and 11b and/or both front wheels 6a and 6b. And the unit 31 theoretically combines the evaluation result of a rear wheel at a low friction side and that of a front wheel at a low friction side, and outputs an instruction for controlling the first and second fluid pressure control valves 4a and 4b for the front wheels 6a and 6b. And for a front wheel at a high friction side, an instruction is outputted for controlling the second and the fluid pressure control valves 4b and 4a for the front wheels 6b and 6a independently on the basis of the evaluation result. Therefore, stable steerability can be guaranteed, while the weight of a device is lessened and the cost thereof is reduced.
