<p>PURPOSE:To provide the title compsn. which gives an electrothermal transfer type ink ribbon having excellent heat resistance and smoothness, by blending a satd. polyester resin with carbon black, a polyisocyanate, a bisphenol A type epoxy resin and a solvent. CONSTITUTION:100pts. (by weight; the same applies hereinbelow) satd. polyester resin (a) (e.g., a modified ether type satd. polyester resin having an MW of 15,000-25,000 and the formula) is blended with 20-50pts. carbon black (b) having an average particle size of 20-100mum (e.g., acethlene black), 10-40pts. polyisocyanate (c) (e.g., tolylene diisocyanate), 10-40pts. solid bisphenol A type epoxy resin (d) having an MW of 500-4,000 and 200-500pts. solvent (e) (e.g., a mixture of toluene and methyl ethyl ketone) to obtain the title compsn. contg. 25-35wt% (on a solid basis) components (a)-(d) and having a viscosity of 100-1,000cps (25 deg.C) and an electrical conductivity of 0.5-10OMEGA.cm.</p> |
