摘要 The invention relates to a device for extruders for the continuous extrusion foaming of various thermoplastics. The device, which is arranged between an extruder barrel 2 and an extruder die 3 and consists of a cylindrical housing 4 in which torpedo-shaped metal components with cooling channels are arranged axially for conveying partial streams, the length of the cooling channels having a specific ratio to their diameter, the total cross-sectional area of all cooling channels being greater than the effective melt-influence area and it being possible for a plurality of cooling stages to be connected in series, is designed according to the invention such that, in the temperature-controllable housing 4, one or more torpedo-shaped components 7, 8 are arranged which each possess a cavity 9 through which a temperature-control liquid flows and whose longitudinal walls have cooling channels 10 which run so as to be axially parallel and have the same distance from the cooling medium, on the side facing the extruder barrel 2, the torpedo-shaped component 7 has assigned to it a melt-distribution part 11, on the side facing the extruder die 3, a merging part 12 is disposed in the housing 4 (see Figure 2). The device permits, inter alia, the foaming of thermoplastic waste mixtures. <IMAGE>
