A first component (1) can be releasably connected to a second component (2) by a plastic fastening element (5). For this purpose, the fastening element (5) comprises a receiving part (6) which is fastened, for its part, on the first component (1), is in the form of a plate and on which a connecting part (7), likewise in the form of a plate, is articulated. Said connecting part (7) has a spring tongue (11), on whose free end portion there is located a retaining lug (12). Owing to the latter, the second component (2), in the closed state of the connecting part (7), is pressed against the end side (6') of the receiving part (6), with the result that the first component (1) and the second component (2) are releasably connected to one another. <IMAGE>
