<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the reliability of control processing, by performing the original control based on the detection signal from a sensor so far as an abnormal value does not continue even when the detection signal from the sensor temporarily shows abnormality. CONSTITUTION:A data processing apparatus 3 has a sensor 2 for detecting the displacement quantity of a movable member 1 and performs predetermined operation based on the displacement quantity detected by the sensor 2. When the abnormality of the sensor 2 due to the temporary trouble of a sensor line is discriminated by the first discrimination means 4, the position of the movable member 1 is detected by a position detecting means 5 and, when it is detected that the movable member 1 is present at a predetermined position, the second discrimination means 6 discriminates whether the displacement quantity detected by the sensor 2 is present within a tolerant value. When it is discriminated that the displacement quantity is present within a tolerant value, the detection of abnormality by the first discrimination means 4 is cancelled by a cancelling means 7. By this method, original control based on the displacement quantity detected by the sensor 2 can be continued with respect to a temporary abnormality value.</p> |
