PURPOSE:To improve the editing accuracy of a video tape by controlling the tape speed during an approach drive period of an editor VTR to obtain the coincidence between the approach drive distance of a source VTR and that of the editor VTR. CONSTITUTION:A controller decides a low or high speed of an editor VTR from the reproduced control pulse, etc. of the source VTR and the editor VTR and ipresses the control pulse of a high level to a control terminal 24 of a buffer oscillator of the editor VTR. Then a transistor TRQ6 is turned on to release the vertical synchronizing signal which is supplied to a trigger signal input terminal 21. Then the buffer oscillator has the internal oscillations. When a high level control pulse S2 is impressed to a control lerminal 23 under such conditions, a TRQ5 is turned on to select a resistance R3, etc. Then the time constant of a buffer oscillation circuit is varied, and the oscillation frequency is increased. This increases the tape driving speed of the editor VTR. In the same way, the drop of the tape driving speed is also controlled to obtain the coincidence between approach drive distances of both VTRs having different rise characteristics, etc. As a result, the editing accuracy is improved for a video tape. |
