The invention relates to a symmetrical device enabling a reversible double-foot to be mounted on the end of sailboard masts. In event of breakage of one of the components forming its mast foot 1 (roller cradle or universal joint or components for fastening to the board), the user thus has available a complete replacement assembly 2 inside his mast (3); he may install it simply by turning the foot round after having untied the rope (tie) 4 for attachment to the sail 5. This device can be mounted on all standard sailboard masts and can be used with all types of mast foot whose diameter is less than the internal diameter of the mast. <IMAGE>
