The fitting detachably secures a door or window in the desired position, having sections secured to the leaf and frame. One of these contains a locking pin slid a rotary disc with eccentric boss or rib, the two having a self-locking action and being at right angles to each other. The other fitting section has an opening or flange for the pin in the extended position. The pin(5) and disc (8) are mounted in a pot-shaped housing (11) with a radial opening (14) in which the pin works. A sealing component (15) is inserted in the open end of the housing and cannot turn and has a guide (16) for the pin. There is a tangental mounting flange (19) with drillings (20) on the housing where the pin emerges from it.
