PURPOSE:To improve the durability of a discharging electrode and to perform a stabilized pulse discharging by projecting laser beam on the surface of an electrode ground by temporarily sticking corrosion resistant metal thereon and performing the surface forming by depositing the corrosion resistant metal on the electrode ground. CONSTITUTION:The corrosion resistant metal 10b of Ni, etc., is temporarily sticked with its coating on the surface of an electrode ground 10a. The electrode ground 10a temporarily sticking the metal 10b is then placed on a Z table 11. A main control part 22 is actuated, a signal is transmitted to an optical system control part 21 and each table (11, 12, 13) and the laser light from a laser oscillator 18 is projected on the surface of the corrosion resistant metal 10b. The metal 10b is thus melted and deposited on the electrode ground 10a. An X table and Y table are controlled with their movement nd the laser beam is projected on the whole surface of the metal 10b to perform the deposition. With this method, the durability of discharging electrode is improved and the pulse discharging stabilized for long term can be performed. |
