Protective hood for powered hand tools, in particular grinding machines

For powered hand tools, especially grinding machines, a protective hood is proposed which can be clamped on a machine-side clamping neck by means of a clamping bolt (16) which draws together a clamping band (11). Engaging on the clamping bolt (16) is a quick-clamping device (17) which enables clamping without tools and has a lever (19) which is held at the end (18) of the clamping bolt (16) so as to be pivotable about an axis running transversely thereto. The lever (19) is curved in accordance with the curved course of the clamping band (11) and is placed against the clamping band in the clamped-on clamping position. The quick-clamping device (17) enables simple and rapid exchange of the protective hood without tools (Fig. 1). <IMAGE>
