PURPOSE:To prevent ejection of ink droplets from being disabled by providing an ink jet printer head connected to a pressure chamber with a piezoelectric element, a cap covering a nozzle, a pump which absorbs ink from a nozzle and an ink evaporator. CONSTITUTION:If bubbles generated in an ejection channel system of a head 20, a valve 32 is opened, a nozzle part 21 is covered with a cap 27, air in a mall space 28 is absorbed using a pump 33, the ink is absorbed into the small space 28 via a nozzle 10, and is allowed to flow into an evaporator 30 through a conduit pipe 29. Next, the nozzle part 21 is sealed with the cap 27 to initiate the drive of a pump 30, and a piezoelectric element 14 is driven in a high frequency area to give vibration to the ink. Consequently, bubbles adhering to a wall surface are allowed to float, when a drive frequency is gradually reduced to a low level so that it is permitted to drop to a low frequency hand. This results in the bubbles going out of the nozzle 10. Thus it is possible to eject the ink from the head easily, and normalize the condition of the ink is bubbles generate in it. |
