PURPOSE:To shorten the sintering time, to diminish the usage of an inert gas and to reduce the dispersion of element characteristics by sintering a CdS sintered film and a CdTe sintered film in a vessel with a perforated cover using carbon as a chief material. CONSTITUTION:A sintered film 2 consisting of a compound semiconductor containing CdS or Cd and S is formed onto a substrate 1. A muddy material in which flux and a binder are added and mixed to the mixed powder of Cd and Te is screen-printed onto the film 2. The whole is baked in an inert atmosphere to shape a CdTe sintered film 3, and electrodes 5, 6 are each formed to the sintered films 2, 3, thus acquiring a photosensor. The sintered films 2, 3 are sintered in a vessel 7 with a perforated cover employing carbon as a chief material at that time. Accordingly, the sintering time is shortened, the usage of an inert gas is minimized, and the dispersion of element characteristics is reduced. |
