The invention relates to a code-operated electromechanical manoeuvring device, comprising a control unit 1 situated close to the device to be controlled, and comprises a matching circuit for code input 2 which is connected to a comparison member 3 and receives the content from a memory 4 containing an operating code, and the said comparison member controls an electrical operating device 5 and a monitoring unit 10 situated at a distance from the said lock.
