发明名称 PRODUCTION OF LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE
摘要 PURPOSE:To eliminate remaining of electric charge by static electricity and uneven lighting display by the ionic impurity in a liquid crystal material by projecting UV rays from the outside to a liquid crystal display device after a liquid crystal is injected therein and an injection port is sealed. CONSTITUTION:Patterns of transparent electrodes 12, 14 respectively consisting of; for example, ITO, are formed on main planes 10, 102 on one side of 1st and 2nd substrates 10, 11 consisting of glass substrates. Oriented films 14, 15 consisting of polyimide are formed by printing, etc., so as to cover the electrodes 12, 13 and are subjected to a rubbing treatment in a prescribed direction by a cloth, etc. The substrates 10, 11 are circumferentially sealed by a sealing material 17 so as to be integrated while the electrodes 12, 13 are disposed to face each other. After the liquid crystal 16 is injected therebetween through the injection port, the injection port is sealed by a sealing material 18. UV rays 19 are then projected to the liquid crystal 16 from the outside. The impurities contained in the liquid crystal 16 are ionized in this case and, therefore, the electrical conductivity of the liquid crystal 16 is increased uniformly over the entire part.
