PURPOSE:To simplify a microprogram as well as to increase the processing speed of the microprogram by defining an exclusive microprogram for each architecture and actuating the microprogram with plural architectures. CONSTITUTION:A microinstruction address is set to a register 1 of a microprogram controller and a coded architecture mode is inputted to a gate circuit 2 from an architecture mode indicating part which is under execution. Then a qualified architecture mode is obtained as necessary from the circuit 2. At the same time, a single entry of an address array 4 corresponding to the contents of the register 1 is read out to a comparator 5. The comparator 5 compares the architecture mode with bits 0-2 of the register 1. When coincidence is secured among these comparison results, the output of a signal line 11 received from a buffer memory 3 is validated. While the information on the line 11 is invalidated when no coincidence is obtained from said comparison and a load control circuit 6 is started. Thus the instruction processing speed is increased. |
