PURPOSE:To smoothly carry out the working in which a number of tools are necessary, by installing two rotary chucks for holding a tool magazine onto the side surface of a horizontal turning base so as to set the axis center of the chuck in the horizontal state. CONSTITUTION:A pair of rotary chucks 13 for holding a tool magazine are installed rotatably onto a horizontal turning base 3 so as to set the axis center in horizontal state. The rotary chuck 13 has a rotary cylinder 14 rotatably installed onto a casing 4 through a bearing. A sprocket 15 is fixed onto the rotary cylinder 14, and an endless chain 19 is laid between the sprocket 15 and the sprocket 18 of a rotary shaft 17 rotatably installed on the bottom plate of the casing 4 through a bearing 16. An engaging clutch 20 is installed at one edge of the rotary shaft 17. Further, in the state where the horizontal turning base 3 stops, one of the rotary chucks 13 is set at a magazine replacing station 11, and the other is set at a tool replacing station 12. |
