PURPOSE:To miniaturize a device and to make the system scale smaller and inexpensive by constituting channel information distributing means and a means, which selects distributed channel information, with optical switching means. CONSTITUTION:An optical multiplexer/demultiplexer 5' and an optical multiplexer/demultiplexer 5 in each terminal part pair, and a wavelength lambda1 is inputted to the optical multiplexer/demultiplexer 5' and a wavelength lambda2 is outputted from it. The optical signal having the wavelength lambda2 is inputted to an O/E transducer 6 and is transduced to an electric signal to reproduce and output multiplex data a'. A selector 7 converts multiplex data a' to parallel signals to obtain selecting information of an optical signal switch 9. An E/O transducer 8 transduces electric signals of channel information CH1-CH7 to optical signals having the wavelength lambda1 and inputs them to the optical signal switch. The optical signal switch 9 consists of waveguide type optical switches, and channel information are inputted to them as optical signals having the wavelength lambda1 and they are switched by channel selecting information of selectors 7, and information are inputted to respective optical multiplexer/ demultiplexers 5' as optical signals having the wavelength lambda1 and are transmitted to respective terminals. |
