PURPOSE:To always continuously execute an automatic address recording by recording the address number of a recording mode at its initial and end points and writing an address obtained by adding '1' to the preceding number at the succeeding recording time. CONSTITUTION:When an address N or the like is specified by keying operation, an address writing control circuit 39, an address encoder 38, a control signal forming circuit 37, etc., are controlled by a sequence control circuit 41 and the address is written in a magnetic tape 3 at the leading and end points of the recording mode. When the tape 3 is reloaded and the end address is detected by a rewinding mode at the time of loading, the address is written in an address memory circuit 35. At the time of the recording mode after loading, '1' is added to the written contents of the circuit 35 by an address (N+1) circuit 40, the '+1' address following the end address is automatically written in the tape 3 as an initial address. Thus, retrieval addresses are always continuously and automatically written in the tape 3. |
