PURPOSE:To obtain enamelware enabling the formation of a highly accurate circuit and clear enameling by forming a crystallized enamel layer on a metallic material and by removing crystal bodies projected from the surface of the layer by polishing to provide a mirror finished surface. CONSTITUTION:A metalic material 5 is pretreated by washing, degreasing and plating. Desired enamel frit is coated on the surface of the material 5 by electrodeposition, and it is baked at 800-850 deg.C to form a crystallized enamel layer 1. At this time, crystal bodies 2A-2N are partially projected from the surface of the layer 1, and the layer 1 has a rough surface 3. The projected parts of the crystal bodies 2A-2N are removed by plane polishing, buffing or other polishing method to provide a mirror finished surface 6.
