<p>To establish any trouble during the operation of the press when the upper tool reverses from contact with the work piece, the renewed contact between the upper tool and the ram is sensed at the end of the process. The work piece movement is controlled according to this renewed contact. A typical revolving press has a ram, and upper and lower rotating head, with upper and lower tools. The ram which is driven by an eccentric, is insulated from the rest of the press electrically, to allow sensing when the upper tool makes contact.</p> |
