PURPOSE:To increase ink storage quantity per a volume, by arranging an absorbable foam storing ink in each of a housing and a support member in order to send the ink to a head through an opening part. CONSTITUTION:A pen main body 10 is equipped with a support surface 18 for supporting an output printing head and an erected side wall 20 is adjacent to said support surface 18 to form a rectangular support container 19. Ink jet orifices 30, 32, 34 communicate with the ink flow passages 22, 24, 26 extending to the surface 18 of the rectangular support container 19 and three ink filters 36, 38, 40 are respectively mounted in partition chambers 12, 14, 16. A plug 50 is mounted on the back surface 48 of foam body parts 42, 44, 46 and this plug having an end cover 51 prevents the generation of back pressure and makes ink easy to move to a printing head from the foam body parts through the filters 36, 38, 40. A vent hole 52 is covered with a perforated plastic film 54 and the leakage of the ink from the vent hole 52 is prevented. |
