A mixture of 100g NaNO2 and Ca(NO3)2 solution of water 30g and tetrahydrated 171g is heated to 100≦̸C and followed by cooling to 20≦̸C. As a result, 96.5g NaNO3 is obtained in the form of precipitates. Add 42g Ca(OH)2 to the above mother liquid heated to 75 C. Ca(NO2)2.Ca(OH)2.2H2O double salt, 209g is obtained by cooling the above mixed solution to 25≦̸C. Wash the double salt (209g) with 100g H2O at 20≦̸C, dissolve the washed salt (143.6g) with 72g H2O at 75≦̸C, and then 31.4 wt.% Ca(NO2)2 solution (124g) is obtained by separating Ca(OH)2 from the solution.
