PURPOSE:To enable starting of heat generating reaction only during the time of contact with a liquid material, by a method wherein a liquid substance-sensitive-type safety device is situated to a part of an electric circuit, and when the safety device is immersed in a liquid substance poured in a container, a heat generating agent can be ignited. CONSTITUTION:By pouring a liquid substance in a container 3 through an opening port 2 of an upper cover 1 of a container, a level 4 is raised, and the liquid substance enters through a liquid substance introduction port 20 in the bottom of a safety device 14 of a container 17. When the level of the liquid substance is raised up to the uppermost part of the safety device, the whole of the interior of the safety device is immersed therewith. A water soluble insulating material 21, which is previously coated on a conductive wire terminal 18, lead in the device, or is an inclusion between the terminal and a float 19, is dissolved by the liquid substance. The float 19, arranged in the safety device and having a conductive metal surface, is moved upward by means of buoyancy exerted by a level. The terminal 18 and the float 19 are brought into surface contact with each other, electrical connection is created between conductive wires 15a and 15b, and an electric ignition circuit is formed to an ignition tool part. By connecting the terminal of a conductive wire 11 to a power source 13, an igniter 7 is ignited to ignite a heat generating agent 6. |
