PURPOSE:To improve the pressure holding efficiency of an automatic valve, by connecting the liquid pressure chamber of a master cylinder, in which pressure is generated earlier, to a line provided with a holding valve and by using the pressure of the line to previously move a plunger for operating the automatic valve of another line. CONSTITUTION:The liquid pressure chamber of a master cylinder 2, in which pressure is generated earlier, is connected to brakes 8, 9 through pipes 4, 5, 6 and a brake holding valve 7. The other liquid pressure chamber of the master cylinder 2 is connected to brakes 14, 15 through pipes 10, 11, 12 and an automatic valve 13. The automatic valve 13 is operated by the motion of a plunger 64, which receives the liquid pressure of both lines, to hold the operating pressure of the brakes 14, 15. At that time, pressure is produced earlier in the line provided with the holding valve 7, to move the plunger 64 to close the automatic valve 13 before pressure is produced in the other line provided with the automatic valve. |
