PURPOSE:To speedily and easily incline a picture by sequentially changing the transfer timing of a picture signal for a recording part whenever one line or few lines of the picture signal are read. CONSTITUTION:If the timing for reading the picture signal stored in a buffer memory 21 and transferring it to a recording part 3 is sequentially changed at every one line or few lines of the picture signal, recording can be executed by tilting the picture in a prescribed direction. While the recording part 3 proceeds recording in the prescribed timing, a read means 22 is controlled in such a way that the read timing is sequentially delayed whenever one line is read, for example. If the picture is scanned/printed from left to right, for example, the picture on an original is inclined and recorded. Thus, the picture of characters and the like on the original can be speedily inclined with the comparatively simple constitution of a circuit. |
