PURPOSE:To simplify hatching drawing processing by tracing repeatedly the hatching pattern having a unit rectangular area in respective XY directions while comparing the outer shape data of an object rectangular area and the outer shape of a unit rectangular area. CONSTITUTION:The address, in which a hatching pattern is stored, is set to a source X address register 5 and a source Y address register 7, and the length in the X and Y directions is set to a source X length register 1 and a source Y length register 3. Next, the address and length of an area to develop the hatching pattern are set to an X address register 12, a destination Y address counter 14, a destination X length register 9 and a destination Y length counter 11. By using these registers and counters, a hatching pattern is read from a memory 17 and held at a control part 16. |
