<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to freeze completely ripened fruits rapidly at the place of production into an edible state instantly at a stage of eating, by transporting the completely ripened fruits to all parts of Japan. CONSTITUTION:Completely ripened fruits are rapidly frozen to about -20 deg.C at the place of production by a well-known means. After freezing, the fruits are put in packs, etc., and transported to consuming districts by air, etc. By this method, fruits can be harvested in a completely ripened state at the place of production and are in an instantly edible state when reaching the consuming districts so that the present distribution system is made into an epoch-making system and practical effects can be attained. This method is especially effective for fruits of the Southern type.</p> |
