A pulse converter circuit for converting pulses of negative polarity into pulses of positive polarity comprises a series circuit of a capacitor and a diode, the cathode of which is connected to earth potential whilst the pulses of negative polarity can be supplied to the free terminal of the capacitor. The diode is connected in parallel with a resistor and the pulses of positive polarity can be picked up at the common junction of all three components.
