摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To reduce the radiation loss and improve the transmission efficiency by a method wherein a setting unit for hot water quantity intended to be used is provided at each of a plurality of the hot water storage type water heaters which are centralized-controlled so as to average power load. CONSTITUTION:The hot water storage type water heaters 11 and 11' respectively provide with steady hot water quantity setting units 12 and 12', temporary hot water quantity setting units 13 and 13', remaining hot water quantity detecting units 14 and 14', remaining hot water temperature detecting units 15 and 15', timer units 16 and 16' and heating elements 2 and 2'. In a central controlling unit 23, an operating means A19 calculates the heat quantities to be stored based upon the set values of the hot water quantities and the feed water temperature detected by a feed water temperature detecting unit 18 and an operating means B20 calculates the heat quantity of remaining hot water based upon the feed water temperature, the remaining hot water quantity and temperature. Furthermore, an operating means C21 calculates the required hours to energize to both the water heaters 11 and 11' based upon the difference between both said heat quantities calculated by means of the operating means A and B respectively. A timer controlling unit 22 distributes said required hours so as to average power load by controlling the energizing hours with timer units 16 and 16'.</p>
