<p>PURPOSE:To shorten the axial length of a power transmission system by forming a structure that the output shaft of a gear mechanism and a generator rotor are repeated coaxially through engaging and disengaging means. CONSTITUTION:A hollow generator rotor 13 for coaxially transmitting power by returning to an opposite side along the axial direction of the output shaft 12 of a gear mechanism 3 is provided around the outer periphery of the output shaft 12. The rotor 13 is connected to the shaft 12 by engaging and disengaging means 15, and the means 15 is controlled to be switched by control means 17 by the input rotating speed to the mechanism 3.
