Drive device with safety overload

The drive device has an overload safety system (36) designed as a shear mechanism (37) which is mounted between at least one rocker arm (28) which supports the gear wheels and beneath the lower guide rod (5). A rod (39) mounted between the rocker arm (28) and the frame (38) is held in the drive position by a shear pin (40). At one end the rod has a bore (42) whilst a holder (44) set on the lower guide rod (5) has a further bore (43) and the shear pin is pushed through the two bores.
