PURPOSE:To eliminate an obstacle in the rotation of a developing unit, by positioning a housing table and/or the rotational center of the developing unit on an image forming device main body. CONSTITUTION:When the developing unit 1 is set, a slider 62 is pushed in a direction of arrow head H as carrying the developing unit 1 in the housing table 63. Just before completing the pushing operation of the slider, a positioning pin 78 provided protrusively at a part where is the end wall 8 on the inner side of the developing unit 1, and the rotational center O of the unit 1, is fitted with a positioning hole pierced at the side plate 79 on the inner side of a copying machine 2, or the hole of a bearing 81 fitted to the hole, thereby, the inner side of the developing unit 1 is positioned for the copying machine main body 2, therefore, a photosensitive drum 11 supported at the prescribed position of the main body 2. The pins 78 and 82, the bearing 81, and a pedestal member 85 constitute a developing unit positioning guide means. |
