The invention relates to a process for milling integral structural parts, and structural parts which are produced by the process and are intended for structural and fitting elements in vehicles, in particular in aircraft. The reinforcing ribs of an integral structural part are provided with a flange and have an I-section configuration, as a result of which the height of the reinforcing ribs can be reduced and the structural part can be produced in an optimum manner in terms of weight and costs without having to dispense with strength-related features. <IMAGE>
