Table unit serving dual purpose as, e.g. coffee table and keyboard instrument support stand can be used in two positions and the keyboard stored when not in use affording space savings. The unit comprises a base 6, primary table panel 1a pivotally affixed to the base for movement from a level to an upright position, a secondary table panel 8 disposed below panel 1a when the latter is level, the secondary panel being connected to primary panel whereby upon raising primary panel into the upright position shown, Fig. 6, the secondary panel is displaced with respect to the base from its position beneath the primary panel, which may or may not be level to the position illustrated in which, in this case, it remains level although alternatively it may become level or may be made level. <IMAGE> |
