A push-in unit for a device for collecting electrical individual conductors and for passing on the signals to a signal processing point comprises a front panel element (2) having one or more plug contacts (4), which are fastened thereto, and a holder in the form of a printed circuit board (12) for at least one common plug contact, especially a flat-ribbon (flat-strip) plug contact (18), which forms an interface of the push-in unit. The plug contacts (4) and the common plug contact (18) are permanently connected to one another by means of electrical conductors (14) which are printed onto the printed circuit boards (10, 12). A plurality of push-in units (1) can be combined to form a plug-in panel box. The connection of the individual push-in units (1) to a common output point of the plug-in panel box is not permanent, but is effected detachably via common cables or flat-ribbon cables (14) which can be connected to the internal interfaces of the push-in units.
