摘要 PURPOSE:To properly and highly-precisely maintain and control the performance of surface regulating liquid for chemical conversion treatment of a coated film by phosphate by performing the control and management thereof so that the average particle diameter of titanium colloid contained in the above-mentioned surface regulating liquid is regulated within the previously decided range. CONSTITUTION:In a time for preparing surface regulating liquid for chemical conversion treatment of a coated film by phosphate wherein titanium colloid is incorporated as an essential material, titanium content and pH are controlled, and furthermore in case titanium content and pH are made to the outside of the prescribed controlling range during processing operation, these are regulated by adding titanium compd. and a pH regulator or the like. In addition to the above controlling method, the average particle diameter of titanium colloid contained in the surface regulating liquid is measured and this average particle diameter is controlled and managed so that it is regulated within the previously decided range so as to exhibit the regulating function of the surface regulating liquid. The above-mentioned method is preferably performed by discarding the surface regulating liquid from its housing vessel partially and practically continuously to renew it.
