PURPOSE:To attain the coloring of a large graphic image by using the whole screen of a display device by changing the color of a graphic image in an area designated by an area desinating means. CONSTITUTION:Parameter information of a coloring area inputted by a data key DK is converted into an area designating signal by a coloring area designating circuit 2. On the other hand, an address signal is formed by a scanning timing circuit 5 and inputted to image memories 3R, 3G, 3B and a graphic image based upon the color combination corresponding to the value of image data is displayed on a display device 4. On the other hand, density changing information is stored in the image memories 3R, 3G, 3B through AND gates 8R, 8G, 8B and OR gates 7R, 7G, 7B during the reading period of the image data. Since the image data in the image memories 3R, 3G, 3B are successively read out immediately after writing the changed image data during the color changing operation, the graphic image in the designated area is displayed on the display device 4 while gradually changing its color. |
