<p>The ankle support has a footrest (1) with an upright part to en enclose the ankle. This part has a bottom piece (2) and the top piece (3) is connected by a hinge (5). This provides, w.r.t. the bottom piece, a hinge movement in conformity with the natural movement of the foot. The hinge point, when placed in the shoe, is just a little under the ankle. The material of the support is hard enough to stop sideway movements of the ankle.</p> |
