<p>PURPOSE:To prevent slip of a V-belt after release of wheel locks by sensing any quick braking of car, and if so, prohibiting speed change of a V-belt type continuously variable transmission the speed change ratio 'great' side at least while the car is running. CONSTITUTION:In this V-belt type continuously variable transmission mechanism 29, a V-belt 24 is set over a drive and a follower pulley 16, 26 consisting respectively of movable cones 22, 34 and stationary cones 18, 30. A speed change control valve is controlled in accordance with the operating position of a speed change actuator C to accomplish control of the oil pressure ratio applied to said movable cones 22, 34. Here a quick braking sensor A is installed to know the state of quick braking of the car. When any quick braking is sensed, speed change operation into speed change ratio 'great' side to said speed change actuator C is prohibited at least while the car is running using a down shift prohibiting means B.</p> |
