PURPOSE:To obtain a colorful optical card having high contrast and high resolving power by laminating a chalcogen glass layer on a reflection layer on a substrate and a dye layer on a scattering absorption layer, thereby forming said card. CONSTITUTION:The dye layer 13 is deposited by evaporation on the white vinyl chloride substrate, then the chalcogen glass layer 12 is laminated and formed. UV light 16 is then projected through a photomask 15 by using a high- pressure mercury lamp or Ar laser. Since the chalcogen glass changes from amorphous to crystal in the exposed part, the exposed part is dissolved away by the difference in the solubility in an alkali soln. to form an etching pattern. The difference in the reflectivity between the reflection surface of the glass layer 12 and the non-reflection surface of the dye layer 13 is thereby increased and the high-contrast pattern is formed. The optical card having the high resolving power and well balanced color tones is thus obtd. |
