发明名称 CATALYST FOR REMOVING NITROGEN OXIDE
摘要 PURPOSE:To efficiently remove nitrogen oxide in flue gas containing 0.01ppm or more of As2O3 or 200-2,000ppm of sulfur oxide, by forming a catalyst for removing nitrogen oxide in said gas by compounding titanium and manganese. CONSTITUTION:For example, molded titanium oxide is impregnated with a manganese compound to form a catalyst for removing nitrogen oxide in flue gas. Titanium and manganese are used in the form of oxide, sulfate or nitrate and, when titanium is used in the form of titanium oxide, one composed of a crystal having a particle size of 150-250Angstrom is pref. The ratio of titanium and manganese is pref. 30-99:1-70 as an element basis. In order to remove nitrogen oxide in a gaseous mixture by the catalyst, ammonia is added to the gaseous mixture in an amount of about 0.5-5mol times nitrogen oxide contained before said gaseous mixture is allowed to pass through the reaction bed packed with the catalyst.
