<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the transfer resistance of a slab and to enable the compression in the slab width direction with good efficiency and without any buckling by designing the cylinder pressing a buckling preventing roller to be a double piston rod type and providing a change-over valve, a high and low pressure accumulator and a pressure reducting valve specifically on the circuit feeding a pressure oil thereto. CONSTITUTION:Two position four direction hydraulic directional control valves 14, 15 are provided on the pipe line feeding a pressure oil to a cylinder 5 and high and low pressure accumulators 16, 17 respectively on its primary side pipe line and oil discharging pipe line and they are connected via a pressure reducing valve 19. The circuit is made in the figure state at the time of the press stroke of a slab stock 1 and the relation of buckling preventing rollers 3, 4 and the slab stock 1 in this press stroke is that the roller 4 is pushed back by the thickness increase part T or delta of the slab stock 1. On the other hand, the change-over valve 15 is changed over from 15a to 15b at the time of the transfer stroke of the slab stock 1, the force pressing to the slab stock 1 of the roller 4 is eliminated and the dead weight part of a buckling preventing mechanism only acts as the contact force.</p> |
