The constant level A is obtained with a bottomless compartment, which is leaktight, in order to neutralise atmospheric pressure. The level B fluctuates, it is characterised by a flow and return flow cycle produced by the device with which the support tank is provided. This device consists of a float 3, at the end of which a magnet 4 is placed, and in a configuration facing this latter, another magnet 5 situated outside the support tank. This outer magnet, which follows the movements of the float, is limited in its descending movement by the switch 7, the latter, when it encounters the magnet, causes the flow to stop via the pump 8. At this instant, the water in the part B of the aquarium returns to the support tank under gravity, the float rises, the outer magnet which is limited in its rising movement by the switch 6, causes, on contact of the latter, via the pump 8, the return flow. The aquarium design according to the invention is in particular intended for the cohabitation of different species such as fish and amphibians. <IMAGE>
