The intention is to design a plug, comprising a head (1) and a shaft (2) and intended for an opening (6) situated in a vehicle body (7) and forming an entrance to a captive nut (9), in such a manner that, on the one hand, it terminates flush with the body outer skin and, on the other hand, prevents the captive nut (9) from rattling. According to the invention, the head (1) comprises a hollow cylindrical first part (3), matched to the opening (6), and a second part (4, 5) for receiving an assembly tool; the shaft (2) is designed such that it can be screwed or pressed into the threaded nut (9). <IMAGE>
