Rolling contact bearing and a method for its assembly

The rolling contact bearing consists of an outer race (1) and an inner race (3) and of a plastic cage (5), the webs (10) of which are connected at one edge by means of a compact flange (7) while, at the other edge, the webs have formed on them segments (8) which engage with play in a circumferential groove (13) formed in the outer race of the bearing or on the inner race of the bearing. A description is also given of the method for assembling the bearing and this method is suitable, in particular, for radial cylindrical roller bearings or radial needle bearings.
