Gate with up=and=over and folding sections - has lower section guided on inclined rails for folding it outwards

The gate has a top up-and-over section on a horizontal axis, and a bottom folding one, also on a horizontal axis. On both sides, the bottom (1) of the gate is guided on an inclined rail (8). The folding joint (4) is so formed, as to allow the folding section (6) to fold towards the outside of the building. The gate pref. comprises a number of slats (2) with hinges at different levels, with the hinge axes at right angles to the slats. ADVANTAGE - No extra space needed when open.
