PURPOSE:To improve conversion efficiency, by fixing thermoelectric materials, which are formed on a heat resisting member by a thick film method with an organic resin, removing the heat resisting member, laminating the thermoelectric materials, which are fixed with said organic resin, and forming a thermoelectric element. CONSTITUTION:N-type thermoelectric materials 2 and P-type thermoelectric materials 3 are alternately formed on quartz glass 1 by a thick film method. The N-type thermoelectric materials 2 and the P-type thermoelectric materials 3 are covered with an epoxy resin 4 and fixed. Then the quartz glass 1 is removed. Thus the device, in which the N-type thermoelectric materials 2 and the P-type thermoelectric materials 3 are embedded and fixed in the epoxy resin 4, is formed. Then, the epoxy resin 4, in which the thermoelectric materials are embedded, is laminated. Thereafter electrodes 5 are formed. Thus, temperature difference applied on an element can be made large, and conversion efficiency is improved. |
